Rumours have again begun to circulate regarding a putative takeover by Nokia of its US-based smartphone rival, Palm, as the Finnish giant contemplates reigniting growth in the key North American market. The rumours came as Palm unveiled the Pixi, its newest smartphone based on its next generation operating system, WebOS.
