It has a deal with China Mobile to launch the handset there as well as with América Móvil's Claro unit in Brazil. Both have been popular markets for investment for several years, attracting a number of international companies. However, entering China is still a complex manoeuvre while Brazil has welcomed outside investment that has seen its economy exit recession swiftly.
