Motorola To Manage Zain's Network

US-based mobile equipment company Motorola has secured a three-year contract for the management of Zain's Iraqi mobile network. The exact value of the contract has not been disclosed, though it has been described as multi-million dollar by Motorola. The two companies have an existing relationship, with their most notable past co-operation being Motorola's management of the merging of Zain and Orascom's networks after Zain took over Orascom's Iraq operation in 2008.
