Mobile Money Services For UAE

Mobile market leader Etisalat has received authorisation from the telecoms regulator and the Central Bank to offer mobile money services. Initial offerings will see subscribers able to make payments using their handsets in shows and at ticketing machines. Future developments may see international mobile money transfers enabled, too. Etisalat states it will be the first company to offer mobile money services in the Middle East.
