Spectrum Caps Raised Benefitting All
September 2009 | Regulatory DevelopmentRules for the forthcoming mobile spectrum auction have been released by Mexico's competition commission, the CFC. The rules address one of the key issues for Mexico's operators, that of spectrum limits, increasing the maximum amount for a single operator to 90MHz, one of the highest rates in Latin America. As growth continues and subscribers make greater use of bandwidth-heavy services, operators must ensure that they can continue to offer a high level of service.
