Nawras Outlines Expansion Plans

Oman's second-ranked mobile operator, Nawras, has revealed ambitious plans for the coming two years, as it invests in fixed-line services following the awarding of the country's second fixed-line licence. The company is expecting to launch its first fixed-line service at the end of 2009 but, over the next two years, will continue to invest heavily, primarily in increasing the reach of its fixed-wireless broadband services.
