India Announces MNP Proposals

As India prepares for the upcoming implementation of mobile number portability (MNP) in October 2009, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has published draft rules. Comments on the proposals will be made by industry operators and authorities by July 14 2009.
