Mobile Operators Take First Step To Mobile Wallet

Canada's three largest mobile operators, Rogers Wireless, Bell Wireless and Telus, have announced they will launch a payment system before the end of June that will allow subscribers to send money through their phones. The service, to be called Zoompass, will allow subscribers to transfer to a fellow registered user of the service with a fee of CAD0.50 per transfer.
