Movistar Expands VAS In Peru
May 2009 | Product LaunchMobile market leader Movistar has launched mobile broadband services over its 3G network in Lima. The company, owned by Spanish incumbent Telefónica, aims to expand the service to Peru's main cities, Arequipa, Cuzco and Trujilllo, later in 2009. The company's Speedy Móvil service has four postpaid plans as well as four prepay options. The launch comes as the company also announced mobile payment services in conjunction with Visanet del Perú.
