South Africa's mobile operators have been hauled up in front of the regulator following complaints about network quality and delayed SMS, reports cellular-news. ICASA had reportedly been receiving an increased level of complaints about network quality, but the moment of action was precipitated by a disruption to the highly popular 'Idols' reality TV talent contest, which reaches a very wide audience across South Africa, alerting many to new network problems.
