Dialog Telekom Trials HSPA+

Sri Lankan telecoms operator Dialog Telekom has commenced a HSPA+ pilot project, boosting its network speed to 21Mbps. The typical download speed for this technology is around 8Mbps, as conducted by Australian operator Telstra. Testing will be carried out solely in the capital Colombo and, if successful, could lead to a number of other trials across Kandy, Galle, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Nuwara Eliya, Trincomalee and other major towns.
