M1 First To Launch Prepaid Mobile Broadband In Singapore

Singapore's first-ever prepaid mobile broadband service has been launched by M1. Aimed at tourists and business visitors, offering a three-day unlimited data usage rate of SGD18 (US$12), this undercuts prices charged by hotels for access to broadband services. In addition, it will also appeal to local residents, who do not wish to be tied into a service contract.
