LG Telecom Offers Open Mobile Internet In Hope Of Gaining Market Share

South Korea's third and smallest mobile operator LG Telecom has launched an open, full-browsing internet service, OZ, marking a first in the country's industry. Traditionally, operators have opted for closed portals, with customers looking to gain access to the internet via the operator's web portals, making them often slow and difficult to customise.
