Facebook: The Future For Mobile?

The world's largest social networking site, Facebook, is looking to offer more services via mobiles and is in talks with major handset manufacturers, such as Nokia, as well as smartphone makers Apple and Research In Motion. Facebook overtook News Corp's MySpace as the most popular social networking site in mid-2008 and has continued growing, with 150mn subscribers at present. The ability to access certain features over a mobile handset has meant that around 13% of Facebook's subscribers use a wireless device to connect to their account, according to the company.
