Pannon Preparing For More Data Usage

Pannon GSM, Hungary's second largest mobile operator, has selected Alcatel-Lucent's Remote Access Network (RAN) mobile backhaul solution. The solution includes the 7705 Service Router, 7705 Service Aggregation Router (SAR), 5620 Service Aware Manager and the 7705 SAR-F (Fixed Form Factor). The new solution will give the operator more bandwidth and scalability at lower operational costs as well as provide a faster time to market for new services.
