PTK Reports Successful 2008

Post and Telecommunications of Kosovo (PTK), Kosovo's incumbent telecoms operator, has announced that 2008 was a successful year. Highlights of the year include completing phase five of its mobile network expansion, enabling capacity of 1.2mn subscribers and providing 90% territorial coverage. The migration of the fixed-line network to a next generation network (NGN) is now complete, and ADSL services were launched.
