KDDI To Buy TEPCO Cable TV Units

Japanese telecoms operator KDDI plans to acquire two local cable TV operations, TEPCO Cable Television and Kawagoe Cablevision Corp, both of which belong to the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO). The acquisitions will cost around JPY20bn (US$222.4mn), according to Reuters.
