Zain Tanzania Deploys Mobile Internet

Zain Tanzania has commercially launched what it claims is Tanzania's fastest mobile internet service, according to TeleGeography. The 3.5G service enables download speeds of up to 7Mbps and is initially only available in the capital Dar es Salaam, but will be extended to other parts of the country by the end of 2009.
