Third Mobile Licence To Be Tendered

Mozambique is planning an international tender for a third mobile licence, to take place in the first half of 2009, reports Reuters. The last mobile licence auctioned in Mozambique went for approximately US$15mn five years ago, but with interest in African telecoms investment high at the moment, the government could be hoping to raise much more.
