MTN Strengthens Its Position In Cameroon

MTN has launched two new services in Cameroon, according to TeleGeography. In a move that will be aimed mostly at business customers, MTN has begun offering WiMAX broadband services in 18 towns and cities. At the same time, MTN is targeting the lower end of the consumer market with a prepaid mobile scratch card designed for people who do not have their own mobile phone. The card will allow them to use someone else's phone without the owner incurring any cost.
