Iran Close To Selling Stake In Telecom Incumbent

The Iranian government has released more details of its planned sale of a stake in the Telecommunication Company of Iran (TCI), after announcing that it is expecting a delegation from Turkey to arrive for discussion about the stake, reports TradeArabia. TCI claims that it has already met delegations from Russia, China and Indonesia, and media reports have confirmed this, with Indonesia's Telkom reported to have made inquiries back in October 2008.
