TPSA Launch DTH Service

Telekomunikacja Polska (TPSA) has launched a DTH satellite TV service. It will form part of a package called neostrada tp z telewizja, including internet access and telephone services. The TV service will provide 32 Polish and foreign TV channels and gives the option of subscribing to premium channels such as Orange Sport and a Canal+ package. Over 200 channels will also be available via Eutelsat's Hot Bird service. The Samsung satellite decoders used will be Video On Demand (VOD) ready as TPSA is expecting to launch VOD services to satellite subscribers next year.
