du Doing Harm To Etisalat's Market Share

In an article on zawya quoting Gulf News Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) has reportedly announced that it has reached its target of 30% mobile market share in the UAE 16 months ahead of schedule. It had 2.3mn mobile subscribers at the end of Q208, although only 1.85mn are active subscribers. The company considers its expansion is down to the high levels of growth in the UAE mobile market and the company's price competitiveness.
