Plans To Expand CDMA Operator Multi-Links

Telkom South Africa , the majority shareholder of Multi-Links, one of Nigeria's many small CDMA operators, has announced plans to invest ZAR4.3bn (US$533mn) during 2009 in expanding the network and services of the operator, according to allAfrica.com. Multi-Links offers fixed-wireless, mobile and mobile data services in several Nigerian cities, with its subscriber base concentrated on Lagos and its surrounding areas.
