Triton Telecom Launches Caribbean Submarine Cable
October 2008 | Contract NewsTriton Telecom, a provider of undersea fibre-optic cables in the Caribbean, has awarded a contract to Israeli telecoms equipment vendor ECI Telecom for the provision of a multi-million dollar submarine cable connecting Florida in the US, with Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Under the terms of the agreement, ECI Telecom will supply its 9000 Carrier Ethernet Switch Router (CESR) and XDM Multi-Service Provisioning Platform (MSPP).
