Matsushita And Secom To Lease UQ WiMAX Network
August 2008 | Contract NewsMatsushita Electric Industrial and Secom, a securities company, are among a group of companies looking to offer WiMAX services in Japan from spring 2009, according to the Nikkei. Under the partnership agreement, it is understood that Matsushita will sell notebook computers and car navigation systems capable of connecting with WiMAX networks, while Secom is to deploy a real-time video surveillance service that allows families to monitor their children's whereabouts.
