Mobinil To Launch 3G Services This Year
August 2008 | Company News AlertMobinil, Egypt's mobile market leader, plans to launch its long awaited 3G network on September 1 2008. The operator had been expected to receive access to the radio spectrum on January 17 2008, but the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) did not release the radio frequency until March 27 2008. On the back of this delay, it had been Mobinil's original plan to launch services in July this year, but again the deadline was missed.
