Telefónica O2 Czech Reports 19% Profit Rise

Czech incumbent telecoms operator Telefónica O2 Czech Republic has announced a year-on-year (y-o-y) improvement of nearly 19% in its net profitability for the six-month period ended June 30 2008, on the back of stabilised fixed-line sales, healthy growth in mobile data usage and continued strong internet and broadband activity.
