HTCC Attracts Interest From Private Equity And Operators
July 2008 | Company News AlertInitial expressions of interest in buying Hungarian Telephone and Cable Corporation (HTCC), one of Hungary's largest alternative telecoms operators, have been received by the company's financial advisor BNP Paribas. HTCC had announced at the end of June that it was evaluating strategic alternatives for its business. According to Dow Jones Newswires, bids have been tabled by private equity groups and leading European telecoms operators, most notably Telenor ASA of Norway.
