Bakrie Unit Awards IPTV Contract To BNS
July 2008 | Contract NewsMulti Kontrol Nusantara (MKN), a subsidiary of Bakrie Telecom, Indonesia's fourth largest mobile operator by subscriber numbers, has awarded an IPTV contract to BNS, an IP solutions provider. Under the terms of the agreement, BNS will be responsible for supplying, designing and implementing a turnkey high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD) IPTV service platform. Initial services will be deployed in the Rasuna area of Jakarta by YE08, with national deployment expected to be complete in the coming three years ended 2012.
