U:fon Offers Voice Services, Reaches 75% Coverage

Mobile data network operator U:fon has added mobile telephony services to its data transmission and fixed wireless call offerings, according to the Prague Daily Monitor. U:fon entered the Czech mobile communications market in May 2007 when it put its CDMA-based network into operation, but elected not to compete with the country's existing players in the voice services sector until it had managed to extend its network to a sufficiently large proportion of the population.
