Neotel Selects Tellumat For WiMAX Rollout

South Africa's second national fixed-line network operator, Neotel, has named local equipment vendor Tellumat as its preferred supplier of its new national wireless broadband network, which will be based on WiMAX technology. The contract covers the roll-out of WiMAX base stations and subscriber units over a multi-year period and is a key element of Neotel's broadband expansion strategy.
