Telkomsel Extends GSM/W-CDMA Capacity And Coverage
May 2008 | Contract NewsSwedish telecoms equipment vendor Ericsson has been awarded a contract by Indonesia-based leading mobile operator Telkomsel. Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Ericsson will deploy its Mobile Softswitch Solution (MSS) including its new MSC Server Blade Cluster. The solution is intended to provide a common core network platform for the operator's GSM and W-CDMA technology, while boosting its network capacity, performance and coverage.
