Reltel Wireless To Raise NGN30bn, Fund CDMA Rollout

Reltel Wireless, a Nigerian private telecommunications operator (PTO), plans to raise NGN30bn via a private placement from investors; the funds raised would enable Reltel to rapidly move forward with its plans to offer wireless-based telecommunications services in 51 cities. The company will be listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange before the end of 2008.
