Net Serviços Launches New Triple Play Service

March 2008 | Company News Alert

Brazilian pay TV operator Net Serviços has launched a triple play package targeting the lower income segment. The package, available for BRL39.90 (US$22.86) a month, includes fixed-line telephony, 100Kbit/s broadband and a pay TV service and was launched in the first week of March 2008. Net Serviços' president, José Antonio Félix, stated that the product would 'guarantee tomorrow's revenues' and claimed that sales of the package have been around 600 a day since its launch. The package is set to undercut rivals by a significant margin, but the low end users may have an impact on the company's ARPUs in the short run.
