Cellcom Israel Pilots Residential VoIP Service
March 2008 | Company News AlertCellcom Israel has launched a trial VoIP-based telephony service for residential customers, according to a report published by Globes Online. The trial will be used to test service quality assurance for telephony-over-VoIP and to determine whether such an offering would be commercially viable. Cellcom already provides VoIP and standard telephony services to business customers over a platform that uses fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) equipment sourced from Nokia Siemens Networks.
