Colombia To See Second 3G Launch

Third-ranked mobile operator Tigo has announced that it will launch 3G services in the second half of 2008. The announcement comes just weeks after market leader Comcel, a subsidiary of América Móvil, launched 3G services in the country. Tigo's 3G launch would be the company's first in the region, where it operates in Bolivia, Paraguay, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.
