Etisalat Enters Indian Market Via IT Sector
March 2008 | FDI AlertEtisalat, the UAE-based telecoms service provider, has established a new subsidiary in the Indian city of Bangalore. Under the brand name of Technologia, Etisalat's subsidiary will be responsible for developing software solutions for the telecommunications industry, as well as servicing its telecoms operations in the Asian region. The operator provides services in 16 countries across Asia and Africa. In a recent statement, Etisalat CEO Mohammad Khalfan Al Qamzi said: 'the key objective of Technologia is to form a hub of innovation excellence to support our growing international portfolio of operators and telecommunications related subsidiaries.'
