Deutsche Telekom 2007 Growth Driven By CEE Mobiles

Deutsche Telekom of Germany has published its financial and operating results for the year ended December 31 2007. Net revenue increased by 1.9% to EUR62.5bn, although this masked an 8.4% annual increase in revenue from mobile communications services, to EUR34.7bn. While the company's domestic mobile operation grew strongly in 2007, the company's international mobile businesses - primarily based in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) - generated revenue of EUR5.6bn, up by almost 56% year-on-year (y-o-y) and adjusted EBITDA of EUR2.2bn, up by 49.1% y-o-y.
