Etisalat Courts Korek In Iraqi Mobile Market

The Financial Times reports that Etisalat is close to sealing a deal that will see it establish a joint venture with a mobile operator in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq. Etisalat CEO Mohammad al-Qemzi is quoted as saying that Etisalat is planning a joint venture with 'an existing licence-holder' and that a final agreement is now awaited.
