Telefónica O2 Czech Reports Healthy 2007 Profits

Czech incumbent telecommunications operator Telefónica O2 Czech Republic has announced an improvement of nearly 30% in its net profitability for the year ended December 31 2007, on the back of stabilised fixed-line sales, healthy growth in mobile data revenues, strong internet and broadband activity and very good performance by its wireless subsidiary in neighbouring Slovakia.
