Batelco Offers To Buy Jordanian Subsidiary

Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco) has offered to purchase the 20% stake it does not already own in Batelco Jordan for a total consideration of JOD2.13mn (US$3.01mn). Through its 96%-owned subsidiary Umniah Mobile Communications, Batelco has made an offer to all of the minority shareholders of Batelco Jordan, valuing the business at JOD10.63mn.
