3.5G Launch, Another First For Nawras

Oman mobile operator Nawras is expecting to launch services over its 3.5G next generation network. Over the coming few months, a soft launch will enable a select number of Nawras employees and customers to test out the capabilities of the operator's new service for free. If successful, a commercial launch could follow soon, initially taking place in the capital of Muscat and Sohar, with gradual rollout to other major cities in the Sultanate.
