Latin America Telecoms Business Environment Rankings

In BMI's revised Business Environment Rankings for the telecoms industry in Latin America in Q208, Chile remains the top ranked telecoms market. Argentina rose by two places to third owing to strong growth in mobile subscriber figures during 2007, when it replaced Chile as the most developed market in the region. The order of the remaining markets remained the same, with Venezuela at the bottom of the rankings, although due to strong growth it is closing in on Colombia.
