Millicom Rewards Central America With Investment Injection
June 2007 | Company Finance AlertMillicom International has announced that its Central American operations in Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala will receive a capital injection of around US$500mn during 2007. This accounts for around 80% of its 2006 total capex budget and more than the US$258mn spent across its operations during 2005. It is also a sign of the growing importance of the region to Millicom International.
