Irancell Offers First Mobile Internet Service
February 2007 | Company News AlertOne month behind schedule, Irancell, the South African managed Iranian mobile operator has finally announced the launch of its free mobile internet services to customers. The service, a first in the Iranian mobile market, to be made available to both its prepaid and postpaid subscribers over its GPRS network, will only be made free until end March 2007. Irancell seems to be following a pattern, with its continuous delays. The operator has similarly been behind schedule in its network rollout.
