Etisalat Modernises Its System Management Services
December 2006 | Contract NewsUS computer networking equipment manufacturer Cisco Systems has signed a strategic alliance with UAE-based telecoms operator Etisalat, which will help modernise the operator's managed services, aimed at the corporate sector. In particular, Etisalat is focussing its energies on small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs). This is perhaps unsurprising in light of the rapid economic developments taking place across the Kingdom, which has seen GDP growth rise by 8.3% in 2005, with BMI forecasting similar growth of 8.25% in 2006.
