Tele2 Picks Broadband Over Fixed-Line

Tele2's latest results reveal that the pan-European operator's decision to scale back its core fixed-line activities in favour of mobile and broadband services is having an effect. The group reported an 11% y-o-y increase in revenues for the third quarter to SEK13.749bn. Results from the direct access and unbundled local loop (LLUB) broadband division were particularly impressive, more than tripling over the year to SEK1.333bn.
