Telefónica Plans Quick Start To Slovak Operations

Telefónica O2 is keen to establish itself in the Slovak mobile market after winning a tender for the country's third mobile licence in August of this year. The operator has announced that it will launch commercial services in the first quarter of 2007 and plans to test its GSM network by the end of this year. Telefónica O2 has also initiated talks with Slovakia's two existing operators - Orange Slovensko and T-Mobile Slovensko - on interconnection and domestic roaming
