Deadline For Telekom Srpske Privatisation Extended

As international bidders line up to enter the Bosnian telecoms sector, the committee in charge of the privatisation of regional incumbent operator Telekom Srpske has extended the deadline for bids from October 4 to November 5. According to the Minister of Transport and Communications in the Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Cubrilovic, the extra time has been given to allow bidders to better acquaint themselves with Telekom Srpske's operations. Telekom Srpske is the incumbent operator in the autonomous and predominantly Serb Republika Srpska. Bosnia has two other incumbent fixed-line operators, BH Telecom, based in Sarajevo and HT Mostar, based in Mostar. Both
